farewell 2011

2011 will forever be remembered as one the the absolute biggest and  greatest years of my life. I married my best friend, graduated from college, and started my own business. That isn't even including all of the little firsts and lasts and friendships and memories that went into making this year so fabulous. I love everyone who was a part of it, and I am so thankful to have so many wonderful people surrounding me as we head into 2012. Let's do it.

But first, I'd like to reminisce a bit....

what a day

Sunday we were both off work, so Ty and I decided to make a day of it.

We kicked off the day with lunch with my Dad, Staci, Hannah, and Zane.

Then we went to Crystal Bridges. We loved it. I am so glad there is a respectable art museum here. Of course, Ty was in heaven.

After that, my family gave Ty a belated birthday party. My cute grandma made him this wonderful Beatles blanket.

Afterwards we went to the Theatre Squared production of "It's a Wonderful Life." Incredible.

We finished off the day with some cleaning and re-decorating.

I'd say we didn't waste a moment.

the little craft show

This past weekend, Stitch had a booth at the first ever Little Craft Show. It was so much fun and so inspiring to be around so many creative people. We had an absolute blast, and the show was such a success. We brought a sampling of our handmade shop, as well as some of our prettiest vintage goodies. (Sorry for the poor picture quality. All I had was my iphone, which is ancient and has no flash!)

Here are some pictures of our booth:

Leea had a booth in the show too!

I seriously don't know what I would have done without Ty's help throughout the show.

All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I am so excited for the next one!

Ty's Birthday

Last week was Ty's 24th birthday. (That sounds so old, by the way). It is the third birthday of his we have celebrated together, which seems so crazy. Time really does fly. After the store closed that night, we had the first dinner date we have been on just the two of us in quite some time. It was soooo nice. Then we went home to open presents and eat some red velvet cake. I can't wait to love him so many more birthdays.
